Brewed cold from start to finish, Toddy coffee is characteristically low in acidity and high in flavour, with lovely rich and smooth coffee (or tea) that's perfect on ice or diluted with a splash of cold milk. The Toddy Brew System produces 2L of delicious concentrated cold brew at a time. To brew, place the paper filter bag into the brewing container and pour 340g of coarsely ground coffee into the bag, followed by 2L of water. Steep for 12-24 hours to create a smooth, rich flavour. Afterwards, remove the stopper and let your coffee concentrate flow into the glass decanter. Coffee concentrate will stay fresh for up to two weeks in your refrigerator. For rich, smooth iced coffee, simply pour coffee concentrate and water, milk or soy over ice. We recommend both filter and espresso roasted coffee for this brewing device. Included in the Cold Brew System is the brewing container with the handle, the glass decanter with the lid, reusable felt filters, a rubber stopper, and instructions with a recipe guide. Deceptively simple and exceptionally delicious.
