Kirorero Nkira is everything we love about a washed Rwandan coffee. Bright, clean and beautifully balanced. Kirorero Washing Station works with over 2,000 smallholder farmers across the Western Province, around 800 of them women. It is as remote as they come. After a long drive, access is only by boat, tucked deep in the steep slopes of the Gasuma Valley at lake level. Coffee arrives by boat, foot or bicycle, before making its way back across the lake for export. As a part of COOPAC, Kirorero reflects the cooperative’s dedication to supporting farmers while raising both quality and community well-being. Roasted for filter, this one opens with juicy blackberry, orange and yellow nectarine, lifted by a soft floral aroma. Silky and sweet from start to finish.
