Country Of Origin: Indonesia Region: West Java Process: Natural Varietal: Mixed Altitude: 1300 - 1700 MASL Flavour Note: Plum, Cherry, Strawberry, Grapefruit Produced at the Java Frinsa Estate in West Java (Indonesia), this coffee is the result of a project started in 2010 by Wildan Mustofa and his wife, Atieq Mustikaningtyas. The estate's name, ""Frinsa,"" is a heartfelt tribute to their four children: Fikri, Rifda, Nadia, and Salsa. While many Indonesian producers traditionally utilise wet-hulling, Wildan and Atieq have set themselves apart through a rigorous commitment to quality and a drive to perfect coffee processing in Indonesia. This specific lot, ""Manis"", which means ""sweet"" in Bahasa, indeed lives up to its name. Once harvested, the cherries (primarily the Sigararutang variety) undergo a hands-on natural process. After being washed to remove floaters, the cherries are dried whole on tarpaulins in the estate’s drying yard. The result is a cup that captures the essence of its name: a sweet profile that is truly ""loved by all"". We invite you to savour this cup, and enjoy the labour of love ushered by the family at Frinsa.
