Straight out of Ethiopia’s famed Gedeo Zone, this lot comes from Gedeb in Yirgacheffe, a region known for bright, clean, high-quality coffees. Grown by various small-scale farmers at around 2,000m above sea level, the area enjoys high rainfall, warm, consistent temperatures, and rich, well-draining soils. You could say it’s the perfect recipe for growing exceptional coffee. Even better, these coffees are shade-grown, allowing for slow maturation and complex flavours. Speaking of flavour, Yirgacheffe Gedeb comes through with notes of dried apricot, jasmine, and plum. It’s full of character and ready to be your new favourite spro.
